Randy Walton has lived in North County San Diego for nearly 40 years and has represented hundreds of individuals and families from all North County communities in personal injury and wrongful death cases. With his representation, his clients have recovered tens of millions of dollars in their personal injury cases.
Randy is a dedicated member of both the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego and the Consumer Attorneys of California, reinforcing his commitment to advocating for personal injury victims.
Randy has earned an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, a confidential peer-review rating that highlights his exceptional legal skills and high ethical standards. For 12 consecutive years, from 2014 to 2025, he has been recognized by his peers for inclusion in Super Lawyers magazine for his expertise in personal injury law. Most recently, he was selected for inclusion in the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers in America.
Randy is also deeply involved in his community, recognizing the importance of giving back. He is a co-founder of Project Next, a nonprofit organization that assists high school students in planning their future, whether that involves pursuing higher education or entering the workforce.
Randy also served a four-year term on the San Marcos City Council and spent a decade as a member of the Governing Board of the San Marcos Unified School District, which serves over 20,000 students.
During his time in law school, Randy received numerous accolades, including the Westbrook Award for scholarship and oral advocacy. He was an active member of the school’s national trial team and earned academic honors for his legal writing.
In addition to his legal practice, Randy is a certified mediator through the National Conflict Resolution Center.
A 2010 graduate of Leadership North County, a program offered by California State University San Marcos, Randy has also been active in local youth sports for many years, coaching the San Marcos High School surf team to three state championships. In his spare time, Randy enjoys surfing, hiking, reading, seeing live music and theatre, and spending quality time with his family.
